Yay! We're pregnant!!! We are so excited to get this blog started. A little about us first... Kelley and I dated for about a year and a half before he proposed in September 2011 and we got married in Horseshoe Beach on May 11, 2012. In August we found out we were pregnant and we have been bursting at the seems for our next appointment (which is tomorrow 10/13) and we will hopefully hear the heartbeat and then we can officially start telling people! We've only told our parents so we are extremely excited to get the word out and let the world know that we're having a baby in March 2013! This is Baby Gill first picture and was taken about 7 1/2 weeks. I was so excited to see our little peanut and see the heartbeat, such an amazing feeling. I told Kelley he had to be at every single appointment thereafter so he doesn't miss anything.
Today I am exactly 11 weeks and 4 days. I am hoping to get an ultrasound tomorrow at our appointment so I can have a picture our little peanut....well fig actually :) We have an app on our phones and it gives us a week by week visual of what's going on in my body and Baby Gill is about the size of a fig right now.
We are excited to get things rolling with this blog and document everything we can about our first pregnancy. Not only for family far away but also to have the memories we share along the way and have a play by play story for Baby Gill --the story of the pregnancy, not just starting on Day 1 of his life, but the entire story.
